In 10 days you will experience from the desert to the highest motorable road and high altitude lake situated at 4300m.

Itinerary: Leh-Pangong lake-Nubra Valley-Alchi-Lamayuru

Day 01

We’ll transfer you from domestic airport to the hotel and give you some time for resting and acclimatization.

Day 02

We’ll take a drive around Leh and visit some of the most important monasteries of Ladakh: Stok, Shey, Tikhsey and Hemis. These ancient places will offer you a first glimpse in our Buddhist culture.

Day 03

It’s time for a unique journey: Pangong lake. Situated at 4300 m altitude, this lake is unique for its changing colors from hour to hour. It can be called The lake most reached in blue tones. The incredible view, the silence which surrounds you, the chill way of living of the locals from the small village, will take you in a very different world which could seem as a fairytale, except that it is for real. We’ll spend the night in a homestay, in the middle of ladakhi families.

Day 04

We’ll drive back to Leh and have rest for the rest of the day.

Day 05

Our day will start in an adventure way: rafting on Indus river! Two hours of flowing with river will be a good refresh for body and mind.

Day 06

Adventure continues in a different manner: we’ll drive on the highest motorable road in the world,  Kardungla, 5600m) to Nubra Valley. From the highest will arrive in the green valley and desert. As any desert who respect itself, and this one has its basic transportation: camels. We’ll join a camel safari.

Day 07

We’ll return to Leh.

Day 08

You will have a resting day. We can visit Shanti Stupa and The Old Palace.

Day 09-10

For the next two days will take a trip to Alchi and Lamayuru monasteries, 70 km far from Leh. On the way will visit Spituk and Phyang monasteries. Once we are arrived at Alchi will see also Likir and Rizong. Lamayuru Monastery is situated in so called Moonland-the relief is so spectaculars that you can say to your friends that you made a visit on the Moon. About the monastery itself, we can say that is the one of the most popular and magnificent monasteries of Ladakh. It is known to be the oldest monestic establishment in Ladakh and was founded by Rinchen Zangpo in the 10th century. Alchi Monastery is also an ancient one and you can enjoy the mixture of Kashmiri and Tibetan paintings. We’ll drive back to Leh.

Day 11

We’ll transfer you to the airport for the flight back to Delhi.

This package offers the opportunity to visit in two weeks the most attractive places in Ladakh.  It includes all the high altitude lakes open to the tourists: Pangong lake (4300m), Tsomoriri lake (4600m) and Tsokar lake (salted lake).  In Nubra valley you can experience camel safari and enjoy the sand dunes, after we drove on the highest road in the world, crossing the Kardungla pass (5602m).  You will also visit some of the oldest Buddhist monasteries in tibetan plateau: Lamayuru, Alchi, Hemis, Shey, Thicksey.

Day 01

Julley!Welcome to Leh!  The fresh and strong mountain air makes your breathing heavy? Don’t worry; it’s normal at 3000m altitude. All you have to do is to take a proper rest and drink as much liquids as possible. We’ll transfer you from domestic airport to the hotel and give you the time for resting and acclimatization.

Day 02

Ladakh is famous for its ancient Buddhist monasteries. Some of them are just nearby Leh, so we’ll take a drive around Leh and visit the Palace and monastery of Stok- the actual residence of royal family, Shey- the old summer capital of Ladakh, Tikhsey –also called The small Potala and Hemis-the largest monastery of Ladakh. These ancient places will offer you a first glimpse in our Buddhist culture.

Day 03-04

Nubra Valley, also known as The Valley of flowers, used to be an important station on the Silk Route. Situated at 3000m altitude, it is a mix of mountains, desert and green life. You can see together snow on the peaks of the mountains and camels crossing the sand dunes in a hot sun. Going home you can rest in a beautiful garden. If you want to taste the feeling of a caravan, we’ll do camel safari on sand dunes. We will also visit the hot springs in Panamic and the monastery of Diskit, famous for the huge statue of Buddha. For getting to this piece of heaven we must cross the highest motorable pass in the world, Kardungla (5602m)

Day 05

After this incredible journey you’ll need a day for rest, so we’ll arrange for you to visit other beautiful and special places in Leh-Shanti Stupa, Old Palace and Maytrey monastery. Both destinations are situated up on the hills, and the panoramic view of Leh will consume you a lot space for pictures in your cameras.

Day 06-07

It’s time for a new adventure! Different landscape, colored mountains, another high pass, Changla, and a little wonder of the nature- Pangong Lake. Some people called this The lake most reached in blue tones-and they were perfectly right! The turquoise tones of this lake have an awesome peaceful and relaxing effect upon people. The colors can change from a moment to another depending by the wish of the masters Sun and Sky. It’s the perfect place to see the nature creating perfection.

Day 08

It’s time for some adrenaline! Rafting on Indus or Zanskar Rivers is for sure an unforgettable experience. Is first time for you? Don’t worry, everything is perfectly safe and our staff will be there to take care of you. All you have to do is to enjoy it!

Day 09-10

From the realm of water will cross to the Moonland and get back in ancient times.We will visit two of the most important monasteries of Lakdah: Alchi and Lamayuru.  On the way to Lamayuru you can say that you landed on the Moon.

Day 11-12-13

Back on the earth, we’ll make a return to primordial way of living.  We’ll make a journey to Tsomoriri Lake, the highest altitude lake in Ladakh. This lake has a mistic power upon people: dissolves stress, brings peace of mind and smile on your face and in your soul. Korzok village, situated nearby the lake is like an archeological proof projected in real time of an ancestral way of living.  The Coca-Cola and and chips contrast strongly with the appearance of old people and kids, who spend most of the time in the monastery, praying and drinking salt tea. In this corner of the world you won’t see hurried, angry or sad people. We’ll put our camp 2 km far way from village, where the nomads lives.

Day 14

Back to Leh you will have the time to make final shoppings.

Day 15

We’ll transfer you to the airport.

This package includes the most beautiful and attractive touristic points of Lakdakh: high altitude lakes, highest motorable road in the world, sand dunes and green valley of Nubra-one of the important stations on the Silk road, trekking and some of the oldest and most important buuddhist monasteries. From Lamayuru we’ll come back up to Chilling by foot. 5 days of trekking we’ll offer you the opportunity to get in contact with the countryside way of living, having a glimpse of the old way of living, which is lost nowadays in the modern city.

Last day in Leh; shopping day.

Transfer to airport.

This package is destinated to mountaineers who want to try a high peak with a moderate grade of difficulty and not too expensive. This peak can be a very good training for higher demands in Himalaya, for example.  Being not a special technical route, it will help you to get used with high altitude conditions.  An important detail: the peak permit is easy to get and not expensive (50$) so this makes it very accesibily

Day 01

Arriving to Delhi. We’ll transfer you to the hotel and in the afternoon we’ll show you some of Delhi’s attractions, like The Red fort, the old Delhi and so on. Because of the high humidity and very hot weather, we don’t recommend a long stay in Delhi.

Day 02

 Early in the morning you will fly to Leh and have a day of and acclimatization.

Day 03

We’ll arrange for you a tour of the main attractions of the city and around it: The Old Palace, The monasteries, The beautiful Shanti Stupa.

Day 04

For a better acclimatization we propose to you a cycle tour around Leh to the beautiful monasteries of Shey and Tiksey. The distance you will cycle is about 50 km. If you are not a mountain biker you can go by car.

Day 05

Resting day and complete the expedition preparation.

Day 06

We’ll start the expedition to Stok Kangri with the ascending to Mankarmo camp (4000m). It is recommended to have the first stop here for a better acclimatization. It is also possible to go to the base camp too, at 5000m.

Day 07

We will arrive to base camp, at 5000m and install our camp. For avoiding the sick altitude, it is recommended to sleep 2 nights at 5000 m altitude, so we propose to you short trek around, for a better acclimatization.

Day 08

Next day we’ll take a 2-3 hours trek to the glacier (5500m) for acclimatization, and come back for rest.

Day 09

It’s summit time. Our day will start early, at 2 a.m. The way to the glacier we are already familiarized. From there will come a 3-4 hour steep ascend to the top. Once we are on the top and done all the recording of the special moment, we’ll take some time to enjoy the view which surrounds us. If the weather is clear you can see Nun, Kun, K2, Kaylash peaks, to name some of them. After that we’ll return to base camp. In the evening we’ll have a little mountain party for celebrating the event and take rest.

Day 10

We will return to Leh.

Note: Being ourselves mountaineers, we know that you will love to spend as much time as possible on the mountain.  This Stok expedition can be made in 2-5 days, depending of your wish. For a sure summiting and a full enjoying we propose the long version. In this way you can give yourself more time to enjoy it.

Day 11

After a climbing expedition it is always welcome a relaxing trip. So we propose for that a 3 days Tsomoriri lake trip- a high altitude lake surrounded by nice peaks. This is situated 245km far from Leh, which means 6-7 hours by car. It might seem a long trip, but the view which surrounds you will make you feel it as it was an hour trip. The colors of mountains are changing all the time and the rocks are very spectacular.

Day 12

You have several options to enjoy the day: short trek to nomadic camp or drive to Tsokar lake, or ascending to one of the surrounding peaks.

Day 13

Return to Leh.

Day 14

Flight back to Delhi. We’ll transfer you to the hotel and next day to the airport.
